Raza Youth Empowerment Project

About RYEP

Since 1994 the Raza Youth Empowerment Project (RYEP) has been addressing the specific educational and organizational needs of Chicano/a and Latino/a high school students and their communities.

In order to promote our emphasis on higher-education awareness and community empowerment, the project provides academic and cultural workshops and presentations for students. RYEP also helped to establish the United Youth of Aztlan, a coalition of high school youths from the West Los Angeles area.
